I CENTER IN THE LIGHT OF THE BELOVED COMMUNITY: January 16, 2022

Darkness cannot drive out darkness;
only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate;
only love can do that.

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

We are centering in pure consciousness.
You may ask the question,
what is pure consciousness?

Answering that question
is no different than asking:
what is God?
No different than asking:
Who am I?

In Luke 17:21, Jesus answers this question for us all.
He says that the Kingdom of God is within us.
Then what does that make us?

Jesus says in John 14:20,
“I am in the Father,
and you are in me,
and I am in you.”

What, then, does that make us?

Paul echoes this refrain in 1 Corinthians 6:19,
when he says “Do you not know that your bodies
are temples of the Holy Spirit,
who is in you,
whom you have received from God?

You are not your own.”
