Right here, right now,
there is a love in us,
and in which we are
that never ends.

Let’s lift that love in celebration
of Juneteenth. Juneteenth is now a federal holiday in the United States celebrating the emancipation of African Americans who had been enslaved. Originating in Galveston, Texas, in 1866, it has been celebrated annually on June 19 throughout the United States.

In the light of our love
is peace,
wholeness,
and the grace of good
for everyone and
everything.

The light of love
never leaves us.
It is always available,
wherever we breathe,
wherever we are now.

In the light,
I know the past
is no more
and the now
is all there is,
full of opportunity
for all.

We are a lesson
in what joy is,
the power of who we are,
here for each other,
the light of awareness,
knowing only light.
