EMBRACE YOUR VULNERABILITIES: December 19, 2020

Being kind to ourselves by embracing our vulnerabilities is an essential act of self-care and the only way to come to terms with exactly who we are in a manner that allows us to be courageous, creative, and powerful.

There are some things that we have no power over. We can sit in the discomfort of realizing whatever they are and face the fear of not worrying how we believe they make us look, or what other people think.
Others may not agree with our perspectives, but that’s okay.
They are not perfect, and neither are we.
We may be victim to whatever is going on around us, but that’s okay. We can improve whatever is available to us.
Regardless, we are still wonderful,
still great,
still worthy of being
our authentic, amazing selves.

Breathing in wherever we are, whoever we are,
and however we are right now is one of the ways we embrace our vulnerability.
Taking time to know that we the image and likeness of divine ideas and the unconditional love of Spirit
is how I face my fears.
It’s okay to stop, nap, laugh, and just be
with whatever I am feeling in the moment.

We are enough
right where we are.

LISTEN TO MEDITATION HERE

“Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity. It is the source of hope, empathy, accountability, and authenticity. If we want greater clarity in our purpose or deeper and more meaningful spiritual lives, vulnerability is the path.”

Brené Brown, from Daring Greatly

In this moment, I breathe in whatever I am experiencing with peace. I send those around me compassion for whatever they experience.
I release.
I let go.
I move forward.
