I bless those around me – not a select few but everyone – from the most kind to the most difficult, and I send them love.
One of the most important lessons to take with us through the portal of the pandemic is the realization that we are one, with the responsibility to bridge the appearance of separation through the practice of lovingkindness. Love is the most powerful energy that there is. As Chadwick Boseman said, we are not here to be loved as much as we are here to love. Love never ever fails. Love is so powerful that we can breathe in pain and breath out relief; we can breathe in despair and breathe out grace. This practice of giving and receiving is built on a foundation of love.
The portal that we walk through is a re-birth and a re-constitution, and resurrection of who we are – one where we can bring an new appreciation of touching each other’s lives and remaining in touch and in connection. So I bless those around me – not a select few but everyone – from the most kind to the most difficult, and I send them love.

“I think you realize how much you need to have people that you love. It’s not as much about them loving you – it’s about you needing to love people.”

“I was raised in a sort of village. I have a huge family, and I think there is strength in that. It helped me to deal with some of the complications of living in the South because I always felt like I belonged, no matter what.”
