But when we slow down long enough
to listen to the breath
that we all share,
we begin the process of healing separation,
of realizing that we are all the same
in the divine energy of the universe.
Jesus Christ was one of the first advocates
of diversity and inclusion.
He excluded no one when he said that
the greatest commandment is to love one another.
He said love your neighbor as yourself.
In the professional setting, we don’t like to use the word “love,”
so we call it diversity and inclusion.
