In the 49th Psalm, the 3rd Verse, the Psalmist says
“My mouth will speak words of wisdom;
the meditation of my heart will
give you understanding.”
Even in what appear to some as their darkest hours,
wisdom, this meditation of the heart, gives us light.

Wisdom enters our heart,
as Proverbs teaches, and its knowledge
is pleasant to our soul.  (Proverbs 2:10)
This is the purpose of meditation: to realize our oneness
with the wisdom that is not of the world,
but is of God — not an old man in the sky, but the
everlasting love that never
condemns us but only embraces us as one.

In meditation, we re-connect with our oneness.
