BE INCLUSIVE BY MAKING GRATITUDE A PRACTICE: November 24, 2018

“Each day, as often as you can, be grateful!
Be grateful for small things and large things,
beautiful things and ugly things,
good things and bad things,
many things and no things.
Notice the miracles in your life and celebrate them,
then offer your peaceful feelings
to all sentient beings throughout the world.
Make gratitude a twenty-four-hour practice.
It lifts the spirit and ripens the heart,
and it costs you nothing other
than your kind attention.”

Ruth King, from Healing Rage

Allow your body to relax.
Be aware of the foundation of the earth
and of the contact of your body with where you are.
Be aware of your breathing, in and out.
Be aware of your abdomen rising and falling
in and out…rising…falling…rising…falling.
Breathing in, breathing out….
Your whole body feels light…
like a leaf floating on the water….
You have nowhere to go…
nothing to do….
except be grateful,
except let go,
except forgive
because you do not need anything from anyone.
You are filled with the power
of the present moment,
being one with all things,
the unlimited light of unlimited supply
and inexhaustible good.
