I MOVE BEYOND THE BOX OF RESTRICTIONS AND LIBERATE MYSELF IN THE PURE AWARENESS OF BEING: December 28, 2017

“When awareness is well established
and mindfulness is happening by itself—
what we could call effortless effort —
then we can simply rest in the continuity
of bare knowing.
Ryokan, a nineteenth-century Zen master,
poet, and wandering monk,
expressed it this way:
‘Know your mind just as it is.'”

Joseph Goldstein, from Mindfulness: A Practical Guide to Awakening

In the gift of Spirit, I take two minutes to bless everyone within my midst.
I am the light of the world but not simply for me, I am the light that radiates the joy of my parents.
I am the light that blesses my father; I see him loved, protected and made whole by the awesome presence of grace.
I am the love that covers my mother with peace, and wholeness, and oneness with joy.

Joy covers me with the power that is my image and likeness.
As God’s child, nothing but good covers me
with the sweetness of victory.

I bless others but most importantly
Spirit blesses me, without ceasing.
