“Often, in our solitude, we can discover the miracles of life,
if we take the time and risk to be alone
until the glow of life presents itself.
This is the reward of all meditation.
It’s like taking the path of our
aloneness deep enough through the woods
so we can reach that unspoiled clearing.”
from The Book of Awakening: Having the Life You Want by Being Present to the Life You Have
In the First Letter of John, in Chapter 4, Verses 7-8, the Apostle John teaches us that
“Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.”
And then, in case we still don’t get it,
the apostle in the 4th Chapter, the 12th through the 13th Verses,
he says: “God lives in us and
His love is made complete in us.
We know that we live in Him and He in us,
because He has given us His Spirit.”
Deep down inside,
we didn’t have to read the Bible to know this.
We knew this before we were born.
We knew this when we were a child –
perhaps before someone taught us their fears and
made us believe we were not good enough.
But as God lives in us, we are the visionaries of God.
We share God’s dreams of eternal peace and lasting love and phenomenal success.
As true lovers of Spirit loving success,
we must remember God’s dreams.
God’s dreams unfold as us and express through us.
We must remember what we were called to do
before we were formed in the womb.
We remember when we are honest to our deepest desires.
Say throughout this meditation to yourself and know throughout the day,
” I remember God’s dreams and I am obedient to them.”
